The Marketing Strategy – a key factor for a success or failure of an online business

The online sales depends on the efficiency of the conducted marketing campaigns. A well established promotion campaign generates traffic and optimizes the user experience on e-stores, while at the same time, an inefficiently created campaign is not only unprofitable, but may even cause loss of capital.

The most used marketing tactics in eCommerce are PPC (Pay per Click advertising), SEM (Search Engine Marketing), SEO (Search Engine Optimization), display advertising, affiliate marketing, SMS and email marketing.

Entrepreneurs meet on October 25th – 26th in Cluj-Napoca 

Online store owners will participate on October 25th-26th at presentations and debates included in the agenda of TeCOMM eCommerce Conference&Expo, while on October 26th, Romanian entrepreneurs will discuss within the four workshop sessions how to grow their online businesses, how to allocate resources and how they can innovate in an environment that is always changing. He is one of the Fashions Day’s creators, managed the new business developement for Elefant.ro, insured ecommerce consultancy for diverse projects in Belgium, China, Russia or UK, and, among others, starting 2011, Ionut is a Lifetime Member of Worldwide Who’s Who in Ecommerce.

Workshops regarding conversion rate: between theory and practice 

Alexander Goesswein, Managing Director of the international company Criteo will participate on October 26th at TeCOMM eCommerce Conference&Expo and will hold the workshop designed to enhance conversion rate. With over 17 years experience in the marketing industry and media, Alexander had an important role in driving Yahoo! (Overture) and Microsoft Advertising, and currently coordinates the activities of the company Criteo in Central Europe in its relations with customers like Sony, Made.com or Thomas Cook Airlines. Alexander Goesswein will hold workshop on how online stores can improve their conversion rates through mobile phone, the second most used tool in making online purchases after the laptop/computer.

Ovidiu Joița (Director IAgency), Florinel Ioan Chiș (Executive Director ARMO) and Cristian Ignat (Chief Canopyst to tilt) will hold workshops during the sessions Conversions/SEO/PPC in the second day of the event dedicated to online stores owners and eCommerce professionals.
